Ich weiß nicht, aber so schlecht habe ich ihn gar nicht gesehn. Also jedenfalls nicht schlechter, als viele andere Spieler gestern. Hat zumindest versucht, auch mal Akzente nach vorne zu setzen. Wenn ich darüber nachdenke - mir fiele jetzt keine wirklich schlechte Szene hinten ein. Jedenfalls kam keines der Gegentore über unsere linke Abwehrseite zustande, oder?

And why was he "grottig"? Sorry but Boba, Cola, Dante, Brouwers, Meeuwis, Bradley and Arango were all worse tham him yesterday in my opinion (and in the opinion of some others)
I'm just wondering why you would say that, maybe if you can give me some points, then I understand more

One more points that makes him look more replaceable than most of the other out-drops we have:

With Jaures we´ve got an acceptable replacement - not brilliant, but solid. If we had so for the other positions, other players would also be called up for time-out. But due to the fact that we don´t have equivalent replacements for most of the positions, people like Arango, Dante and so on play, no matter how bad their perfomance is lately.

I don't know though, Kleine seems quite solid to me. Jantschke aswell. Also soon Marx and Alberman will be back (maybe against next week already?) + Friend and Herrmann also do it for me.
But okay, apparantly there has to be a 'Sündenbock'. I'm just thinking about not looking so much to this forum anymore, 'cause unfortunately I'm just getting mad
I find it really sad that a lot of people in the team were far worse than Daems, but compared to them, Daems gets most criticism (together with Bradley I must say).
Everyone is talking about him like he 'caused the 4 goals, while no goals were coming from the left side.

Also ich glaube kaum dass ihn hier jemand zum Sündenbock macht. Aber ich habe ihn auch nicht viel besser in Erinnerung. Ich denke nicht dass er viel mehr in der ersten Liga abrufen kann, meine Erwartungshaltung ist da nicht so hoch. Für mich ist er von der Leistungsfähigkeit mit Brouwers oder Levels gleichzusetzen, und da fehlt doch nicht wirklich viel.

Friends chances to play rise, though Colautti was the best-hitting striker the last weeks (who would dare to rotate Bobadilla out of the team - even so he maybe deserved it?)

Herrmann is young and burns to play, but neither Reus nor Arango seem to be replaceable.

That doesnt leave much to change - but we´ll see, i´ve got a feeling changes will occure on Friday.

I think Bobadilla and Arango also have more chance at staying in the team, 'cause they cost a lot of money?
I atleast hope there aren't going to be a lot of rotations/changes.
In the middle of the season we also had a bit of a down moment, but crawled back out, we can do this again

As you can see in The Line-up-Thread for the Cologne-Match, i´d change the team on 3 to four positions.

Of cause under this changes is Daems, but unlike the other changes i suggest this one´s rather a coin-flip, springing from my desire to make a change.

The other changes, especially on the DM, seem to be more essential to me.

Konnte mich und sicherlich viele andere heute wieder nicht überzeugen. Wirkt auf mich fußballerisch irgendwie gehandicapt. Seine diverse Stellungsfehler gehören ja schon dazu!

I thought he was very solid today.
I think one of the best matches so far.
I'm sure he can still do better, but it was good.

Complete different opinions again . He was very solid yesterday. (but okay, it's your opinion I guess, nothing I can do about that )
I was watching it live and the commentator also said something like "Daems surely had the upper hand over Tosic today".
There was great improvement and I hope he'll improve like this next week and we'll have the old Daems again
