And Wissing...
(And my calculation of the average was based on different notes from different sites, such as including: Kicker, Sportal and Torfabrik. There Filip comes out as our 2nd best defender together with Levels)
And with Arango I agree with you. If Arango plays good, if he has a good time at playing football, the leftback plays good aswell. You can see this with for example Daems against Schalke (even Schachten against Wolfsburg from time to time (although Schachten himself said that Daems had to help out a lot on the leftside aswell).
I also agree with you on the changing of positions. In fact, the matches that Daems played on the LEFT this season were all good (with the exception of Frankfurt and Stuttgart, where just everyone SUCKED). It's only in the middle where he has more troubles (but still he wasn't that bad against Wolfsburg, Hamburg, even Dortmund and Kaiserlautern weren't that bad (in Dortmund he couldn't do anything about the goals in Kaiserslautern only that last goal (which wasn't of any importance)).
As I said before it's easy to blame and bitch about one player, just 'cause he played a lesser good season in 09/10. His 08/09 season was good! And now he isn't playing bad either on the left. But apparantly he (together with Marx and before Bradley) are the "problems". Bradley and Marx just don't complement eachother, unless they play both as an 8. None of those two are 6'ers. If Frontzeck plays with Marx and Bradley, he should put another player behind them aswell (Jantschke, Neustädter, Nordtveit?)
