Cormac hat geschrieben:If it wasn't for that horror foul on André it could've been a perfect night, but bad as it was it was even more disgusting to hear the Schalke scum chanting 'Auf wiedersehen' when he was stretchered off.
Geis got he deserved (or did he not!?!), but how about them muppeting gobshites with no brains?
The DFB is punishing every racist abuse (which has my full support) but what about this behaviour? It's not just completly out of order, it more importantly is against human dignity.
May I remind you all:
German constitution Article1!!!
The dignity of man is inviolable. To respect and protect it is the duty of all state authority .
Sky commentator Fuss didn't even mention the abuse, what a b  llox.

Enough of that, back to the more important things in life, hockey.
Only joking.
Godfrey, t'was also happy days for Habs supporters like your cousin. We had a great team in the seventies with Guy Lapointe, Serge Savard and Larry Robinson, the big three and Ken Dryden in goal and Scotty Bowman as head coach.
They were a joy to watch, so I was told, because the NHL coverage this side of the pond was almost non existant in those days.
It's much, much better now where I can watch all Habs games live in HD quality.
Borussia as well, of course. :winker: 'Though I prefer to be @ BorussiaPark for the atmosphere. Hopefully vs 96 in november.
Good luck to them tomorrow. :daumenhoch:

That was so satisfying last night.Although I did notice the " Gute Besserung" message so they can't be all morons. Also saw Geis laughing and joking in the stand! To use the South Wales valleys vernacular "he'd have to have it"! :wut: Hey Cormac Buffalo on a roll now,eh?On to Pittsburgh next. One last thing, Drmic, why is he playing for us when he could be a star at Uerdingen

Really happy with the win, this was for you, André.
Not so happy with Tony's injury, though. I hope the shoulder will get better soon.
And Geis, he's only young, he'll learn what's right and what's not.
Pens won @ Caps last night, will watch the Sabres game before my Habs play the Oilers. With the winning streak over they might got their heads clear, again.

Just after watching the Hibs - Rangers match (2:1) :daumenhoch:
Young John McGinn caught my eye, very talented player on left midfield.

Still beat out from last night at the Aviva, but a happy camper otherwise.
The boys in green did it, we're all going to France next summer.

Been following the Hibs the past few seasons, and another green team that I need to visit.

McGinn's passing is above SPL standards, sadly, he'll get grabbed by an English team and his career will stagnate like most Scottish players.

Well, it's that time of year again, where I have to learn to pronounce the new player's names right, remember the squad numbers and book flights for a couple of Hinrunde-matches.
But it's all worth it, every year. :bmgja:
I must know #cause it's gonna be my 48th season supporting Borussia.
Wishing them the best of irish luck for the 16/17 season in winning the triple. :daumenhoch:

Hey Cormac,

we will show up in Europe competitions again.

What can we say about that?

:flagbmg:

And yes, it's worth it :kopfball: :kopfball: :kopfball:

The european competitions were always the icing on the cake, been to several matches myself. Enschede or Rome many moons ago come to mind.
Just hoping they can survive the winter in either competition.

Sommer's injury's quite a blow, Sippel is a good backup but nothing more.
Btw. Yeehaa, my 100th post here. :peace:

Had me dinner early, all was set for the match in Ancona, and then it was over before it really began. Saw Wendt and Korell with the Ref on a water logged pitch.

Ok, there's more games on, so I switched over to the Basel vs. YB (3:0) but that was quite boring.
So, I changed channels again for the scottish league cup clash Celtic vs Motherwell (5:0). and that completely saved my night. Celtic were in good form ahead of their CL play off game with Hapoel Be'er. They'll play Inter at Thomond Park in Limerick on 13 Aug 2016

For me it's gonna be Borussia vs Lazio on saturday.
Until then.

Here's a question for ye all.
I like this Borussia flag I saw in Bern.
Any idea if it's for sale anywhere?
