Steuerfall: Die DFL hilft Moenchengladbach. I know steuer is taxation but what exactly is this story all about

I haven't read the article, but Borussia tried to reduce the tax because of the payments to "Spielervermittler". The first court gave Borussia right, but the second one denied the tax-reduce! The hole Bundesliga has to expect 70 Mios € of tax payments afterwards!
I have no clue concerning what the DFL is doing to help. I found nothing about it!

Here an interesting article about it. In german it was informative, hope google translate didn't mess it up too much.

I know I'm a little bit behind, but it is very interesting and could change the business of football a bit. Could be a negative for the bundesliga if this will only change in Germany.

Janizz, thanks for that, still none the wiser though. Tax and taxation so difficult to understand.
