What are all these "Facebook" rumours about Max Eberl's interest in Leitner and Goretzka? Any truth?

Re: Transfers
Thanks for that "Herbert". Be interesting to hear your thoughts on our chances to sign Goretzka.Looks promising for Kramer. I heard Raphael Honigstein and Christian Ziege talking about Goretzka. Raph said he could leave but Ziege said he'll stay for at least another year. If we get him do you think any of last years big signings will leave?I try to read the transfers page in German but sometimes it's a bit too deep for me.

Re: Transfers
Hard to say, OP A lot of big Clubs are chasing Goretzka, but we have a few plusses on our side, if he wants to live close to home and play Bundesliga on a more regular basis.
Re: Transfers
None of last years signings will leave, thats for sure. I believe we do have a certain chance to get him, just like we got Xhaka, de Jong and Dominguez , which were chased by bigger clubs than us. The benefit with us is, that he would't have to move anywhere, he could stay at home and finish school and stuff (I think thats a big point for young lads like him).
BTW: I wouldn't advise you reading transfer pages (no matter which language) when it's about Borussias transfer rumours. Since Eberl is our manager they normally don't know anything.

Re: Transfers
I appreciate your replies lads, and the same thought went through my mind about Goretzka and the closeness of Bochum to Moenchengladbach. Also the management must have worked really hard to get the "big three" last year. So, here's hoping they can do it again. After so many years of struggle I think it's starting to look like exciting times at Borussia again
Re: Transfers
AHA! One down and (maybe) one to go? Kramer kommt und vielleicht Goretzka nun? Hope that makes sense.

Re: Transfers
Goretzka is still nothing more than a rumour, Op
Re: Transfers
Now will we go for Goretzka? What a coup that would be to "steal" hi from under S04''s noses C'mon Maxi, you can do it!
Re: Transfers
I don't think, that we can compete with Schalke. They take part in international football and, playing for Schalke, Goretzka could do his A-level in Bochum.
Actually it's not clear how much he costs. His agent and Schalke say, he has got a 4 Million release-clause Bochum deny this clause.
Max Eberl said, that Borussia will make an offer for Raffael when Schalkes option to buy elapses. He denied Bendtner.

Re: Transfers
I heard that rumour on radio over here about Bendtner. We don't need him. He's worse than average. I'd rather keep de Jong! Gelsenkirchen to Bochum? Moenchengladbach to Bochum? Which is the farthest? Just thinking about Goretzka.
Re: Transfers
Gelsenkirchen to Bochum is 15km, Mönchengladbach to Bochum about 80km.
Re: Transfers
Hey oldparish!
we heared about those rumors too, but they are very airy and not really serious!
Most of us hope, that we will be untroubled by him
Gelsenkirchen is quite near to Bochum, just a few KM, so if Goretzka likes to stay near his friends and make his A-Levels, as Kellerfan says it would be a logical step to Gelsenkirchen. But we all know it would be a mistake no to join us!!
edit:ups, to late...
