Need a bit of help here...
We have over here a talk radio station called "talk sport".There is a presenter on there called Ronnie Irani(ex-cricketer).He is really getting on my nerves as he has set himself up as the station's German Football expert.I don't normally mind but he get's so many things wrong. His only link is that he had some treatment from Dr.Muller-Wohlfahrt.Now he knows all about Bayern, Bundesliga and all things German. He said this morning after Schweini's great performance last night that Germans call him "Brains"or "the Brain".I've never heard this have any of you?

Re: Need a bit of help here...
Schweinsteiger is definitely the leader in the german midfield but I never heard someone calling him "(the) brain/s".
Re: Need a bit of help here...
Thanks again(to the both of you). You have just proved my point.
Re: Need a bit of help here...
Don't listen to that gobshite Irani, no brains!
I stick with 5live, sometimes I go to http://www.radio901.de/ for interviews with Borussia players during the season.

Cormac, you are completely right. He's such an Alan Brazil suck ass. And, as you say,no brains.I hardly listen to "English" radio during tournaments. It's BBC Radio Wales or when I watch the games I watch on German tv 'coz then you don't get the never ending England references.Even when England aren't playing (you know,at half time and before and after games).Just saw a poll in one of our newspapers here in Wales asking if people would be supporting England at Euro 2012.79% said no! And I guess the 21% were English incomers!
