Welcome back to the big league
I thought it wasn't possible for anyone to do an "Abramovitch" in the DFL.I think berti is right to compare Hoffenheim to Gretna in Scotland. And the same thing will happen to Chelsea(and what a mighty crash that will make)when Comrade Abramovitch decides to shift his money to his next passing fancy.BTW thanks for translatin work d3vil.

If you subscribe to Setanta Sports in this country you get a few other tv sports channels as part of the package. At the moment LFC tv are showing a re-run of the 1977 European cup final against Borussia. The thought crossed my mind that that Borussia team would never lose 5-1 in Hannover even if most of them are well into their sixties now.WAKEY!WAKEY! is the least you could say Ins.
i was at hannover and all i can say is that the team looked well below par. there was very little team play, players were constantly out of position or just stood still when a team mate had the ball. of the 5 goals that hannover scored (or about the other 6 which they contrived to miss) i can't say that one of them was a "good goal" in the sense that they came from good attacking play.
defenders were either miles out of position, or making powder puff tackles. all that hannover needed to do was pass the ball reasonably accurately, run into the empty spaces and wait for the chances to come.
players like Marin - undoubtedly the most talented player on the pitch - need to learn when to pass the ball before running into 3 defenders.
the only player i exempt from criticism is the keeper who was left completely exposed time and again.
Sorry but the players need to sort themselves out, and the sorting out starts with the coach. Did they underestimate Hannover after a good win against Bremen? i hope not, because hannover a deeply ordinary, but technically ok, team and they battered us
Back to the drawing board i think...

Thanks for the report berti.Doesn't make very good reading though. One win even if it was against Werder doesn't all of a sudden make Jos a good coach. As you know I've never had much confidence in him.I think the bloke is out of his depth in the top league.Too late now to get Rangnick but what about giving Christian a go,after all he's got all his badges now ,hasn't he?
my main criticism is the lack of team play. they all worked hard enough and gave every effort.
but they did not play for each other.
if it is just a case of 1 bad game, then we learn from it and get better. but lets not kid ourselves that it was a good performance and we were unlucky. it wasn't and we weren't
how much the coach is to blame, it's a matter of opinion. but if he doesn't learn the lessons, then we will be back down again next year

We can't even score at Cottbus in an effin' cup tie.We are officially s**t.And can look forward to trips to Koblenz and St.Pauli next season.I've never been so disillusioned with this club.We are paying the price for being a club with no ambition and trying to run a Bundesliga outfit on the cheap.I'm bloody mad!!!!!
