Call me an anorak but I like to compare attendances in the big four leagues in Europe.Last week-end, if little ol' Borussia were playing in the English Fantasy League or Serie A they would have had the biggest crowd of the day.As far as I could make out{according to Kicker} only Celtic{against Rangers} and Real Madrid had bigger crowds and of course HSV,Bayern and Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.

oh really? thats cool :D

yeah... the weather was very nice, the opponent was "interesting"

but it was not as funny as against Greuther Fürth, I think the support there was much better :)

Yes Ins,I probably should. An "anorak" in Britspeak is someone who makes their hobby or interest an obsession to the dismay of all around them and can go on and on and on about the one subject boring all and sundry to death. The anorak bit is ,I think attributed to that very British specimen the TRAIN SPOTTER as they all seem to wear anorak jackets.Basically it's someone who should get out more

1. anorak. windcheater. wind cheater.
2. jacket with hood used in polar regions, parka; (British offensive slang) nerd, geek. derogatory term for an often socially inept person, having an obsessive interest in a hobby or subject. Usually has little or no fashion sense, and errs towards eccentricity. Originates from the "trainspotter " look, of wearing anoraks; spending so much time at the end of station platforms in all weathers necessitates the wearing of such attire. anorak a kind of heavy jacket (`windcheater' is a british term) [syn: parka, windbreaker, windcheater].
