when will be the day?

Beitrag von berti mac » 30.03.2008 16:55

ok, we are 8 points (9 if you count goal difference) clear of 4th place.
when might we be able to celebrate promotion?
perhaps against 1860 on matchday 30?
or offebach away on matchday 31?

or will we still be sweating on matchday 34 at paderborn away?

4 wins and we should be through.

I also think four wins will do it.Like I have said before it doesn't worry me whether we go up as "Zweiteliga Meister"or in third place as long as we are one of the three. It does worry me a little that we seem to be stumbling across the finishing line,as witnessed by our win over TuS Koblenz at the weekend. We need to keep our nerve and try and play like we did in the hinrunde and we''ll be alright. It could go as far as Freiburg the last home game of the season.

Yeah, I think that the Freiburg game will be the crucial one. Unfortunately we have squandered 10 points in the first couple of games of the the second leg.

its probably a bit irresponsible to talk about celebrating promotion until its done, but although results have stuttered a bit lately i still think we have enough to finish in the top 3.

but the sooner the better. for what its worth, i think offenbach away will be our day. then we can play the last few games "with our flip-flops on"

If we can get anything out of Monday at the Mungersdorfer then I think we are more than half way there. It ought to give the players the confidence to push on and settle things sooner rather than later instead of as I stated earlier "stumbling towards the finish line"

our last 6 games are 4 wins, 2 draws.

hardly stumbling over the line?
(OK, some of the wins have been a bit scabby 1-0's but a win is a win..)

The point I was trying to make ,Berti is that compared to the hinrunde we are stumbling towards promotion.Hoffenheim under RANGNICK are stomping through the rueckrunde and I thought we would be doing the same.

One other thing. What the heck happened to Freiburg? One by one they seem to be falling by the wayside.Early on it was Aachen then it looks like 1860 and now it looks like Freiburg are giving up the ghost. All good news for us,eh.

I am dumbfounded, too. Hoffenheim and *öln square up, but our squad should be strong enough to carry on without difficulties.

It looks like it's today lads.Obviously not mathematically but almost every result went our way over this week-end.I think it's 9 points we need but that doesn't include the fact that I think Hoffenheim have to play 1FC **** and Mainz have to play 1FC ****.Or variations of those games.

A huge cheer went up after the second goal of Aachen was displayed on the screen. Just one minute later Ollie scored a fantastic goal for Borussia, too.
From that moment on the Borussia Park was in high spirits and raucous bawling everywhere. :D

It must have been bloody wonderful.I saw the highlights on D:SF.Three great goals by the "wunderkind" and Olli and a Borussia crowd cheering a goal by Aachen.Brilliant :D

must admit that when i started this thread i thought perhaps i was inviting troubles.
But we are running out of time to screw it up :D :D

the sooner we are promoted, the sooner starts the party. But its a shame that we aren't still to play hoffenheim, aachen, mainz so we can lose and shag up K++n season good and proper

just noticed: we still get to play freiburg, so theres a chance for us..

Yes and we play Freiburg after we will have been promoted.I think we should do all we can to help them out.By the way 1FC **** still have to play Mainz and Hoffenheim so who knows they might be stuck in the Zweite for at least another season. Will the drug taker stick around or will he head back to Turkey??
DocHoliday

Beitrag von DocHoliday » 19.04.2008 13:14

I hope K**n will get their "Terminal 5 Experience" in the Zweite.
