That's a lot ! In Belgian newspapers is today written that nobody's interested in Sonck and Thys yet.

Today Borussia will announce the squad for the coming season. Luhukay wants to plan with 20 players plus 2-4 from the Youth/U23. Also he declared that they are looking for a striker who is proficient in scoring 15 goals.

Herbert,Doc thanks for that indebted to you both.If he's looking for a striker to get 15 goals a season have a look at Freddie Eastwood at RELEGATED Southend United.Trouble is I think he's carrying a little injury at the moment,but, that's never stopped us before.He's just been called into the Welsh squad for the games against New Zealand and the Czech Republic although he's about as Welsh as jellied eels.I think his grandfather went to Aberystwyth for a day trip Who cares, beggars can't be choosers and we need all the help we can get.

According to rp-online Ziege announced at a press conference today that the following players are leaving Borussia: Kasey Keller, Hassan El Fakiri, Michael Delura, Oliver Kirch, Wesley Sonck, Bernd Thijs and Peer Kluge.
We will see if these are the only ones or if other players will follow.

No, we are all waiting for more. This was just the first snippet of information.
It could mean that Luhukay and Ziege plan with Insua, Jansen, Kahe et al or that this was only the first "qualifying round"

Maybe they should try Sonck ! If they don't give him a chance, how he can show his qualities ? I guess they should send Luhukay away instead of Sonck !

Coach Luhukay has suspended David Degen for the rest of the season suspended due to bad attitude. He will probably leave the club.

Sonck was always injured.He had his chance but never took it (because he was always appeared on the injury list).As for Degen all I can say is.. GOOD.I wish Marcell Jansen would come out and say yes or no!If we can keep him, Gohouri, Svensson and Bogelund and with the "young guns" like Marin and Lamidi I think we have a chance to go back up at the first attempt.Anybody got any thoughts on who will be pushing us for the promotion places next season?Also what about the lad Schnitzler.I see he scored twice in the 6-1 win over Holstein Kiel last week-end.Anybody seen him play?
