Re: New players
Daniel Ljuboja is also an option. He says, he is thinking about an offer from Borussia.

Re: New players
Today Borussia won an indoor football tournament in Dortmund
Leverkusen - Borussia 4:1
Borussia - Cologne 7:2
Borussia - Dortmund 7:5
Borussia - Leverkusen 8:7 after penalties
Bailly was the only new one who played - he was average, maybe 1 little mistake but it seemed as if he hasn´t really arrived yet and is maybe not the best indoor keeper, nevertheless all in all okay, you can´t rate him yet.
Marin was the best player of the tournament, Colautti the best scorer (5 goals), 2nd best scorer was Neuville (4) who also played well.
Summing up a nice start in the new year, but that doesn´t mean too much. We have to keep up the good work to make sure that we will do it and stay in the 1st league!

Re: New players
Having just read the "Kicker" interview with Hans Meyer (and if I've understood it correctly) he seems to be saying that the buying is over for now but he is keeping his eyes open for any other players that become available.Do you think he really has somebody in mind and is trying to keep it all secret?

Re: New players
In my opinion it depends very much whether they manage to dispose the suspended players soon (at least most of 7).oldparish hat geschrieben:Having just read the "Kicker" interview with Hans Meyer (and if I've understood it correctly) he seems to be saying that the buying is over for now but he is keeping his eyes open for any other players that become available.Do you think he really has somebody in mind and is trying to keep it all secret?
If that happens within the next one or two weeks , an additional transfer (probably a striker, since Neuville and Colautti are not really reliable due to their continous injuries) might still occure at the end of the transfer-period, whisch is onJanuary, the 31st.
If so, they probably have a list of candidates in mind.

Re: New players
I suppose Voigt could go to Furth or any other 2nd Division team.
Maybe Rösler will go to Aachen or 1860 Munich or maybe even Kaiserslautern, some newspapers wrote that it´s only a question of the money.
There are also rumours about Coulibaly and PAOK Saloniki. Touma maybe Malmö FF, Gospodarek FC Vaduz?
Yeah, that´s been it. Ndjeng would be left and Svärd. If all this rumours would come true I think we would try to get Ljuboja or maybe Lövenkrands.

Re: New players
Now that Roesler and Svard have gone it would be nice to get a striker in.Ljuboja would do a job for us but it would be even better if we could have got Klasnic.A decent goalscorer and I know we would stay up.The "spine" of the team is looking really strong if the new players live up to their reputation but a strker would be the final piece of the jigsaw.

Re: New players
I would prefer Lövenkrands, he won´t be too expensive now. Maybe half a million euros till July payment and no money to Schalke (he - i don´t know a better word - smashed his contract there). Depending on how Borussia will do he could stay longer.
Also I´d like to see Ljuboja here, I always liked him when he was in Stuttgart, he could help us, I think.

Re: New players
Understood perfectly Frank. If we could get Ljuboja that would be great.I think he has scored against us a couple of times perhaps he could score a couple of times FOR us.
Re: New players
Looks like Didier Drogba is on his way out at Chelsea. Can we afford him?
Re: New players
He could deliver more bang for the bucks.
Re: New players
For me it is obvious: we can surely use a good striker but is Gladbach actually looking for one?
I remember Meyer saying the recent new players must make the defence and mitfield stronger so the strikers will automatic play better... (or something like that). He does know best... or not???????????

Re: New players
Only time will tell,Krikke. We could do with a striker but that's just a personal opinion. The way the friendlies have gone I think we still need players all over the pitch. Also why is it that whenever we sign a new player they are either already injured or within 20 minutes of signing are injured. Dante is a perfect example.
Re: New players
What about this Marc Janko everybody is going on about? Could he be our new Toni Polster? I'd be happy with another Arie van Lent to be honest.
