If you could hear the radio phone-ins over hear you'd realise the illusion of the lovably Liverpool "scally" is just that ,a myth.Eyewitness reports from Athens make you worry.

i'm afraid OP is definitely right. There has been a increase in bad behaviour by liverpool fans and culminating in those events in athens. take a look at the liverpool fans in the ground. that is not a seated area, there are people all over the place, completely crammed in. i know that the policing etc isn't all it should be, but the venue for the final is chosen years in advance and nobody can have foreseen that liverpool would have been there, and certainly there were no problems from milan fans that night.
its even sadder that there is a denial of responsibility from LFC, they just want to lay the blame at the door of UEFA. I wish somebody at LFC could come out and unequivocally condemn the behaviour of certain LFC "fans". But i'm not holding my breath.....
We should just be glad it was Milan and not ManU they were playing...

There's still no report or comment about next Sunday? :?:
Hey Jonny, what's up lately?

Well, then let's read Graham's announcement at least:

Quotation:

Liverpool FC & Borussia MG
Eine ganz besondere Freundschaft
A very special Friendship

2008 Liverpool FC supporters Friendship trip to
visit our friends in Moenchengladbach

I am organising another Friendship trip to visit our friends from Borussia Moenchengladbach. The 2008 Liverpool FC supporters Friendship visit to Gladbach will be from Friday 9 May 2008 to Monday 12 May 2008, match day is Sunday 11 May 2008, Borussia Moenchengladbach versus FC Freiburg, tickets for all travelling Liverpool FC supporters, like last year are guaranteed.

The 2008 friendship trip will involve an all day Fan Party on match day at the Borussia "FanHaus", guaranteed match tickets for Borussia's last home match of the 2007/2008 season, versus FC Freiburg. This game is already sold out and is guaranteeed a 54000 full house, and with Borussia Moenchengladbach currently top of the German Bundesliga 2 table it could coincide with a massive promotion party!!

A meeting with ex-Liverpool player and now "Sporting Direktor" of Borussia Moenchengladbach Christian Ziege. Also a free stadium tour of the new impressive 54000 capacity Borussia Park stadium is on the agenda, and a pub crawl and meal with our Gladbach friends in the famous Moenchengladbach Alt Stadt (Old Town).
Any Liverpool supporters who wish to join me on the Friendship visit should contact me via my Email address (grahamlfc@aol.com) for further information.

To see a video of our Friendship trip last year when 5 Liverpool supporters, me included unveiled our friendship flag on the Borussia Park pitch just 20 minutes before kick off of Borussia's last home match of the 2006/2007 season, please click on the link below:-

I met 4 LFC fans on the Hindenburgstrasse on Saturday morning. They were very nice people and the lady gave me a "two clubs one family" badge for my niece's boyfriend(he's a Liverpool fan,but he's only 18 so he can grow out of it ) for which I wold like to thank her again. One of the chaps, and hows this for irony, actually works for Manchester United as a full time employee and he is going to Moscow next week al paid for by MUFC.
